COR Outing 3 | Mt Faber Hike!

As the date inches closer to our overseas service trip to Myanmar, COR decided to come together for another outing!!

This time, our CGLs have planned a HIKE up Mt Faber!! A seemingly good idea since a hike would train us up for Myanmar and strengthen the bonds between Deafies and COR members!

We gathered early in the morning at Harbourfront MRT. As usual late fees apply!! $$$

A downpour in the morning did not dampen our spirits and before we knew it sun's up and we were ready to HIKE!

Before we started the hike, we had a round of introduction where everyone introduced themselves using sign language.

And of course, we identify each other with our SIGN NAMES!

Of course, with his army singlet, Kelvin (Biz Mag) was ready to lead us with his adept topography skills!

As you see from our SHAGGED faces, it is evident that the hike wasn't easy but COR pushed through!!!

Of course, the view was super rewarding!!!

Another group picture, at another photo spot! :)

It started to drizzle but we managed to complete the hike and ended it at a bus stop!

Conveniently, we took it to our next destination..

IKEA!!

We were all excited to have our lunch at the restaurant but unfortunately, there were no seats!!! :(

We refused to give up! So we ended up eating IKEA... ice-cream 😅 (the best alternative).

As usual it was a great time for both COR members and Deafies alike.

Now we are all just looking forward to the service in the Golden Land, Myanmar!
