For the next 4 days, we helped paint the newly built classrooms and constructed the 3rd storey of the school. We helped lay the bricks, move the bricks and sand. It was a unique experience and hard to come by opportunity to be doing construction together with our friends. This construction is especially meaningful to us as we started the foundation of the building last year but in a blink of an eye, there are 3 storeys now. And to be able to continue what we started, was a very precious experience for us. At the same time, we also engaged in teaching through simple arts and crafts as well as bonding through sports and games. The children made windmills, tote bags and more. They were really proud of what they had made/decorated and had fun showing their products to all of us and their peers. The bonds we made while playing is irreplaceable and precious to us.
