After our hard work at Kavre Deaf School, we went back to Kathmandu to a few culturally and historically significant spots such as the Bouddhanath. Following which, we went to The Bakery Café for an interesting lunch. The Café employs Deaf staff, and can sign a multitude of Sign languages, including SGSL! Our Deafies and members thoroughly enjoyed conversing and sharing about each other's cultures with them, as well as the lip-smacking Nepalese food! The whole journey was finally coming to an end and a sense of nostalgia hung in the air. With heavy hearts, COR'19 and our Deaf friends departed back for Singapore. We hope that all of you enjoyed the photos that we have taken over this trip. We left Nepal, hoping our contributions have indeed helped the Deaf community - no matter how little it may be. Through all our interactions with Kavre Deaf school, as well as the nightly reflections and sharing throughout the trip, all of us have grown in strength of character, with a renewed sense of purpose in COR.
Good Bye!
